The mission
Kettle Interiors needed to find an elegant solution to take payments more swiftly. During the COVID-19 lockdowns faced by the world the digital industry boomed, as a result Kettle Interiors seized this opportunity to bring their payment systems up-to date.
Kettle needed to find a way in which they could speed up the process of payment taking and due-diligence checks for multiple teams within the business, whilst utilising existing banking technologies and integrations.
Kettle reached out to Coconut Web Design and tasked us with this Barlcay’s EPDQ intergration challenge.
Impressive result
Once the testing had concluded, seeing consitent results and several customer focused tests the system went live. Traction was slow at first, the vast number of customers Kettle have were reluctant to move over to this new way of payment taking having been doing it via BACS or over the phone for decades.
But, as with anything, over time more and more customers started using it, it provided them an alternative, and far faster, way of settling their accounts.
As of today, 95% of Kettle’s payments are taken via the EPDQ integration created by Coconut Web Design. It also became quickly adapted by other departments of the company with every single sales team member utilising the tool everyday, increasing revenue and allowing for faster customer onboarding.
It’s estimated that the EPDQ integration will save a collective 5,000 hours of staff time over the course of 1 year! A massive saving that can be spent on other parts of the business.
Kettle we’re so incredible happy with the outcome of the system integration, and continue to work with us to this day!
